Thanksgiving in Tennessee!

For Thanksgiving, we went to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It was great!

Some of us went on a scenic stroll in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

 Went mini golfing...

We went indoor skydiving.  (It was so so so fun)

Went to Wonderworks

Lived through a simulated earthquake

And enjoyed time together as a family.  We are thankful...

Singapore and Thailand

Danny and I spent a great 10 days in Singapore and Thailand in October 2011.

We rented Segways on Sentosa.

We ate Chili Crab with IBM friends (and it was SO yummy!)

We walked around Singapore- SO beautiful at night.

THEN we flew to THAILAND for a few days!

(and I finally managed to get one picture where I don't look horrid.)

We went to a great dinner show and they had 15 elephants on the stage at one point!

Stayed at a beautiful hotel, ate yummy food, went to the spa... so nice!

We rode on an elephant through a rubber tree plantation.

Rode on ATVs through a bunch of mud!

Danny even let these little guys nibble on his feet and legs (a thai fish spa.) Ick.

Back in Singapore we met up with Paul and Belle and saw were my parents lived as missionaries in 1992.

We visited the Tiger Balm Gardens (Haw Par Villa) and saw some great statues and the VERY memorable ten courts of Hell.

They introduced us to this DIVINE shaved ice.  Soooo delicious!

It was a wonderful vacation.  I would highly recommend it.

Time with the new cousins in AZ

We got to go visit the new cousins along with their parents and G and G Carrell.  Little Cole and Kaitlyn are both sweet little things.  The kids LOVED holding them (and fought about who should have the honor...)

4th of July and the Outer Banks

Our neighbors rented a home on the Outer Banks for a week and invited us to come along.  Jake was at scout camp- so we took them up on the offer.

Aunt Nancy Comes to Help us MOVE!

My sister Nancy is a force of nature.  She can outwork anyone I know.  She offered to come be our slave for a weekend so we could move to the new house.  She is clearly an angel.
