Myrtle Beach- the final Hurrah of the Summer!

 Danny decided that we needed to have one last getaway before the kids started school.  Instead of just our 6 kids, we decided to take 3 extras- because really- why not?!  Jake, Kailey and Shelby each took their favorite friend and we had a spectacular time in South Carolina.

 We had to go mini-golfing.

 We had to take a stroll down memory lane and go to Medieval Times (Jake's favorite thing in the world when he was younger.)

 Emery even got a flower from our Knight (Go Black and White!)

 Back at the hotel- the kids decided that latex gloves are THE FUNNEST pool toy ever!

We had to go to Ripley's Believe it or Not-

 Bryson had his finger practically bitten off.

 Daisy and Shelby enjoyed spending time with the bearded lady.

 Claire loved the nuts and bolts dog

 Madi measured herself against the tallest man in the world.

And some of the girls had to see how it feels to be in a hurricane.

 The big girls got fake tattoos.

We ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe 

 and LOVED it when they played Y-M-C-A!!!

 We also enjoyed a lovely dinner at a local Hibachi restaurant.

 An amazing castle was constructed by these people.

 Kailey and Sadie as well as Jake and Bryson went parasailing.

 These two created another fine sandcastle

 And Daisy decided to make a sand pyramid!

 There were waterslide races...

 And we all had an excellent time!  What a great way to end the summer of 2012.
