ZZZZZZZip Lining Hawaiian Style

We drove about an hour away from Dawn and David's house and went for our first true Zip Line Adventure. It was so so fun! At first Grandpa and Shelby were up for the challenge- but Shelby was afraid she wouldn't pass the weight requirement and knew she could earn some cold hard cash if she stayed with the little girls.  So- the few, the proud, the zip-liners were...
Kailey and Grandma

Jake

 Danny and I

 and Dawn

After getting all of our gear- we hopped on this nifty little bad boy and headed into the wild tundra of Hawaii... (or something like that)

Kailey, Jake and Grandma- all harnessed up and ready to go

There were Zip Lines and there were bridges- as seen here... These babies are the reason Grandpa decided that maybe a few hours in the trees wasn't the best idea for him.  (I still don't know how he could be a helicopter pilot and be afraid of heights.)

A view from one of the platforms.

Jake walking across one of the bridges.  It was nice to always be harnessed to a rope.

 Danny and Jake

The longest line- one fourth of a mile long.

Jake and Kailey racing to the end.

 Can you see who's winning?

We LOVED it and would totally do it again!
